(from Mitsubishi Press Release) Like a soothsayer peering into a crystal ball, Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. (MMNA), today provided a glimpse into the future through the Eclipse Concept-E.
But perhaps the future is more clearly visible through the glowing plasma bulb located in the car's center console. Because when the Eclipse Concept-E's parallel hybrid motor is switched on, that plasma indicator light glows with its own unique energy, letting the driver know that there's more here than meets the eye.
Upon initial glance, what meets the eye is a highly styled coupe. Featuring plasma running lights and taillights; neon crackle-tube indicators and brake lights; and a glass roof that offers ambient luminescence of its own, the Concept-E could be called a study in light.

Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution GSR 2010
The previous-generation Lancer Evolution set the bar high for handling performance, and it represented the ultimate development of the previous platform. In the latest Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution, Super All-Wheel Control (S-AWC) begins a new era for dynamic handling control in high-performance sport sedans.
S-AWC is not simply the name of an all-wheel drive system, but an advanced vehicle dynamics control network that reads and reflects driver intent in real time. This system regulates drive torque at each wheel by controlling a network of dynamic handling technologies, including: Active Center Differential (ACD), Active Yaw Control (AYC) rear differential, Active Stability Control (ASC), and Sport ABS brakes.

The new Lancer Ralliart reinforces the sporty identity of the Lancer vehicle lineup with aggressive styling and driving performance, offering a unique balance between the Lancer 2.4 GTS and the Lancer Evolution models. The Lancer Ralliart features a modified version of the Lancer Evolution 4B11 turbocharged intercooled 2.0-liter DOHC MIVEC engine, producing 237-horsepower, and is teamed exclusively with Mitsubishi's advanced Twin Clutch-Sportronic Shift Transmission (TC-SST). The 2009 Lancer Ralliart will start at a manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) of $26,490.00.
"The 2009 Lancer Ralliart creates a perfect middle ground for the consumer looking for more performance than is offered in a Lancer GTS, but not quite to the extent of the rally-inspired and storied Lancer Evolution sports sedan," said Dan Kuhnert, executive vice president for marketing and sales, Mitsubishi Motors North America.
